1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy (the «Policy») defines how personal data of users of the CalCash service (the «Service») is processed and protected. The Service is available via the Telegram bot @calcash_app_bot and the website calcash.net.

By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree with any provision — please stop using the Service.

3. Why we collect data

All data you enter is used solely to make the bot work for you — to correctly count calories, display statistics and provide personal recommendations. Without it, the bot simply cannot calculate your needs or track your progress.

Specifically:

• Gender, age, weight, height → personal calorie and macro targets
• Food records → daily calorie tracking and statistics
• Photos and voice → recognition and transcription (processed automatically; the service administrator can open them in the chat log)
• Financial records → budget and expense tracking
• Telegram ID → so the bot knows it's your account

4. Third-party processing

We use third-party services to store information (a cloud database and file storage) and to recognize photos, voice and text (AI model services). For recognition they receive the message, photo or recording itself plus the context needed to process it: the photo caption, the profile note and a few recent messages. This data is not anonymized.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Storage and protection

• Message text in the chat log is encrypted with AES-256-GCM
• The calcash.net website only works over a secure HTTPS connection
• Voice messages and photos are stored in private cloud storage; a file is accessed through a temporary link
• The service administrator has access to the chat log and files
• We apply organizational and technical measures to protect data from unauthorized access

6. Retention period

Message text in the chat log is automatically wiped after 90 days. Log entries, your profile, photos and voice messages are kept while you use the Service and until you delete them with /restart or through a support request, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request information about stored data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Reset your profile via /restart in the bot — after two confirmations your profile and entry history are deleted; an archive copy is saved before deletion
• Request full deletion of all data (including the archive copy, chat log, photos and voice messages) via support
• Withdraw consent to data processing
• Export your data to CSV — available in the bot under Stats → CSV export

8. Payment

The service is free; we do not process payment data.

9. Cookies and tracking technologies

The calcash.net website uses cookies and similar technologies: the Yandex Metrica counter and Google tags (Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement).

10. Children

The Service is not intended for persons under 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect data of minors. If you become aware that a child has provided us with their data — contact us for removal.

11. Policy changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated via the bot. By continuing to use the Service after changes, you accept the updated Policy.
